COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The course aims at developing students’ English reading skills and sub-reading skills at higher level as well as their vocabulary knowledge and inferring skills through various activities of reading.
Course Content Inference through deductive and inductive ways and derstanding the intertextual meaning in the lines; understanding direct, indirect, denotational and cannotational conceptions in the texts through analyzing the information in the reading texts;expressing their their personal views on the texts either through verbal or written ways; comprehending the reality that the author's intended meaning may be different from what they understand.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

2Students can read and evaluate the text appropriately.
3 Students can determine the aim of the writer and the target readers
4Students can realize and analyze the writer's use of language, organization and the content of the text
5At the end of the course students are able to develop their critical reading skills and make necessary conclusions
