Course Content The concept of social context which is a prerequisite for any language study, a strong tie between language & society that language use might differ from one group of people to another. These differences might derive from such aspects as social status, region, sex, age, educational background etc, insights into the relevant social theories regarding the relationship among language, culture and thought. In this way, discussion on whether language determines thought or vice versa.
