To make teacher candidates investigate the philosophy and content the middle school mathematics curriculum
Course Content
The fundamental concepts of curriculum; developments of elementary mathematics curriculum; the approach, content, expected skills, learning areas and sub-learning areas of current elementary mathematics curriculum; distribution and limitations of expectations throughout grade level; the relations of expectations with other subjects; the relations of elementary mathematics curriculum with primary and secondary mathematics curriculum; methods, ethnics, and materials; measurement and evaluation approach, teacher proficiency.
