Course Objective	The aim of this course is to familiarize prospective science teachers with basic technical vocabulary and gramatical structures, translation techniques from Turkish to English and English to Turkish in academic documents in the disipline of science education. This course also enables the student to read and comprehend the passages related to professional subjects; provides to develop their writing and presantation skills about scientific papers or reports.
Course Content	General review of tenses and basic rules, Technical professional vocabularies, Translation techniques, Guessing the meaning of new words in the passages, Synonyms and opposite meanings of the words, Guessing the meaning of the words by using prefixes, suffixes and the stems of the words. Rading scientific passages and understanding them, Searching abstracts and papers bu using keywords in different databases for literatüre review, Writing scientific paper in line with APA rules, Preparing poster and oral presentations, Writing.Curriculum Vitae (CV) and Latter of Intent.
