Course Content The meaning of earth sciences; general information about the earth, the shape and dimensions of the earth, the movements of the earth, the earth's geospheres, the earth's heat, the gravity and the isostasy, the earth's age; rocks, metamorphism and metamorphic rocks, sedimentary rocks, dissolution and soil, types of dissolution, soil formation conditions, types of soil formation, minerals, agriculture and properties, rock minerals, tectonic movements: orogenic movements, epirogenic movements, faults, volcanism, earthquakes; stratigraphy, general principles, geological time; weather events, climate, winds and the formation of seasons.
