Course Objective To provide teacher candidates with the ability to teach in the classroom and to acquire the ability to fully teach a planned lesson
Course Content Teaching strategies, methods, techniques, materials and applications commonly used in science teaching; (scientific process, thinking, life, engineering and design skills: teaching and learning based on research and inquiry, instructional strategy, argumentation, concept cartoons, forecasting-observing-explaining, learning cycle (5E and 7E) based teaching method, role-playing, drama, context-based learning in science teaching, etc.); preparation and implementation of lesson plans based on the use of teaching methods and techniques; Examination of Teacher Competencies of Science, current teaching approaches in science teaching and practices
