Course Objective	The aim of this course is to give basic information about the definition of energy, type of energy and sources of energy. Our purpose is to compare to fossil-based energy and renewable energy sources such as solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy, wave energy, hydrogen energy. Students should be able to comprehend advantages/disadvantages of renewable energy sources and energy potential in Turkey and the EU.
Course Content	Renewable energy sources; the importance of resources; hydro energy sources, electric energy production sources, biomass energy sources, solar energy, geothermal energy, wind energy, water energy, wave energy, nuclear energy, hydrogen energy.
