Course Objective	Ensure that prospective teachers are aware of the positive and negative effects of science and technological developments.
Course Content	Chronological history of science and technological developments; innovations in science and technology (agriculture, artificial cells, transgenic creatures, electronics, automation ...), positive effects of these innovations on human life, risks related to human health, greenhouse gases and global warming, catastrophic scenarios, future projections.
