COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective	The aim of this course is to give students the fundamental concepts and principles of mathematics. Moreover, students should be able to apply basic concepts to real world situations.
Course Content	Numbers, realtions, first and second order equations, functions, trigonometric, exponential and logaritmic functions, limits, limits of functions, uncertainty in limits, continuity, various continuities.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery	Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Defines mathematics and states the importance of mathematics compared to other physical sciences.
2	Defines the concept of number and solves problems related to this concept.
3	Solves first and second order equations and applies these to real world problems.
4	Defines the function concept and states the properties of functions both analytically and visually.
5	Defines trigonometric, logarithmic and exponential functions. Understand the usage of these functions in the fields of physics, biology, economy etc.
6	Defines the concept of limit and gives examples from the real World.
7	Defines the concept of continuity and understand the importance of this. Applies to real World.
