Course Objective	This course aims to examine the components of an effective visual arts education, reflection of teaching-learning approaches to art education, current trends in teaching visual arts and current problems.
Course Content	Meaning of visual arts learning and teaching; purpose and basic principles of visual arts education; history of visual arts teaching; reflection of teaching and learning approaches to teaching visual arts; basic skills in teaching visual arts; examples of in-class practice; current trends and problems in teaching visual arts; components of an effective visual arts teaching; social, cultural and economic perspectives on visual arts education.
