Course Objective Understanding the material and spiritual elements as society, state, intellectual and art of the Turkish culture, and determining the its importance, place in the history of humanity and addition to the common history of mankind.
Course Content Culture, people and society; Turkish culture and Turkish civilization; the first ethnographic sources of Turks; Turkish states in history; State, administrative, military and social structure in Turks; People's beliefs and mythology Turks; Human and space relation in Turks; oral, written and material culture in Turks; structure of family in Turks; demographic and cultural consequences of migrations in Turkish history; Spread of Turkish culture and its impact on neighboring geographies; tangible and intangible cultural heritage of Turkey; transfer of natural and cultural heritage to future generations.
