Course Objective Throughout this course, students learn about ADHD's definition, its types, its basic symptoms, its causes, its impact on developmental dimensions, how to approach children with ADHD, their education and how to achieve school-family cooperation.
Course Content Definition and characteristics of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD); Basic symptoms of ADHD (attention deficit, hyperactivity and impulsivity); the effects of ADHD on children in terms of social, emotional development and school performance; the causes of ADHD; risk factors for ADHD formation; types of ADHD; approaches to children with ADHD; orientation of students with ADHD; education of children with ADHD; school-family cooperation.
