Course Objective
To teach the basic concepts about the use of play in drama method and music education, to establish the relationship between creativity and improvisation with these methods and to use these methods in school music.
Course Content
To establish conceptual relationships for the common aspects of both fields because of the general conceptual information for adaptation of drama and music to play, the origins of drama and music based on creativity and improvisation, and the means of transmission of emotions; preparing simple musical plays by taking advantage of the disciplines of the performing arts (musical, operetta, opera, oratorio etc.) in relation to the music; types of literature, poetry, story, etc. preparing musical activities by making use of; preparing specific day and weekly activities celebrated in formal education.
