Course Objective	The aim of this course is to make candidate music teachers understand concepts as human-culture-art-music, the limit point that had been reached before and after modern Turkish Republic and Ataturk’s revolution of Turkish music.
Course Content	1- Definition Of Human And Culture ; Genesis Of Music With Its Cultural, Social And Philosophical Dimensions; Conceps Of Music And Culture; Important Fonctions Of Music İn Culture; Individual And Social Effects Of Music; Musical Sound Sources, Formation Of Sound And Its Properties, Formation Of Musical Instruments And Its Development, Music Types İn Turkey And The World, Attitudes And Behaviors That Should Be Demonstrate Of People Who Produce, Perform And Listen To Music In Musical Process; Musical Sound System; Basic Elements Of Music; Development Of The Musical Institutes İn Turkey; Concepts Of Aesthetic And Beautiful In Music; Traditionalism And New Age In Music Culture; Turkish Music Culture; Atatürk And Turkish Music Revolution; The Importance Of Music Education.
