Course Objective	The place and importance of music history in music culture and its education, the basic concepts of music history, the acquisition of the main concepts of creation and realization of music.
Course Content	The stages that Western music has undergone, the historical roots; Different formations and developing movements in the Middle Ages, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Romantic period and 20th century and up to the present day; music theory, instruments, types of musical forms and their major composers of the Western music culture in this process; literary, architectural, political and social characteristics that differ according to periods and artistic relations with each other.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
