Course Objective The aim of this course is to give information and make the students understand the developmental features and learning processes of individuals.
Course Content Relations of education-psychology, description and functions of educational psychology, basic concepts of learning and development, features of development (physical, cognitive, affective, social and ethical development), learning theories, reflections of learning theories to teaching process, factor that affect learning (motivation, individuals factors, group dynamic and impact of these factors on teaching process in class).
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To gain basic knowledge and understanding about human development
2To learn about the physical, psychological, cognitive and social changes take places during development
3To understand the complex structure of the factors affecting human development
4To be able to analyze an individual’s developmental level based on gained knowledge and understanding and to be able to produce solutions for basic developmental problems
5 To learn the general theories explaining human learning
6To be able to design a learning environment that stimulate human learning based on these theories
