Course Objective
To introduce and evaluate the historical flow of world literature and important works of world literature.
Course Content
World literature, world classics, from the first examples to the present; literary movements; Major writers/poets and works of Western literature (Russian, German, French, English, etc.); Major writers/poets and works of Eastern literature (Arab, Persian, Indian etc.); An examination of a selection of world classics in line with contemporary literary analysis.
