Course Objective
The aim of this course is to teach the general terms used in archeology. The objectives of this course are to introduce terms used in ancient architecture, terms used in ceramics, sculpture and numismatics.
Course Content
In this course, what archeology means, its development process and its relations with other branches of science will be explained. In addition to this, information will be given about the activities of scientists who made Archeology a branch of science. Terminology used in archeology will be given. Concepts related to architecture, sculpture and ceramics used in archeology will be explained. Ancient settlements and structures will be introduced with their terminology in general.
