COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective Students will be able to introduce themselves orally and in written language; introduce their families, describe a picture or a person; tell their occupation and hometown, answer the questions about themselves, talk about their cities and countries, recognize the prepositions used for country and city names, express their likes and dislikes (going to the cinema, theatre, doing sports etc.), use possessive pronouns, ask questions with question expressions, and use place prepositions.
Course Content Present continuous tense ; Simple present tense ; Abilities of communicating, reading, writing and listening in these tenses ; oral skills (introducing himself, oneself, one’s family and friends, description of something/somewhere, describing a direction, an addresses, questions answers forms about personal information, etc.) ; reading skills ( in a restaurant, in transportation vehicles like bus-train, reading list/signs in shopping centers and asking questions, etc.) ; writing skills (writing text messages, preparing posters, filling forms) ; listening skills (describing a direction, an addresses, a person etc.)

4Studens will be able to recognize countries and ask and answer questions on nationality and hometown.
5Studens will be able to make basic interrogations about time and place.
6Studens will be able to use Simple Present Tense structures and Express their likes and dislikes on different activities
7Studens will be able to use possessive expressions
8Studens will be able to introduce someone, recognize necessary adjectives and adverbs
9Studens will be able to use place prepositions, tell the place and location of the objects
