Course Objective To comprehend the purpose, concepts and content of Life Science course, To comprehend basic teaching skills in life science teaching, teaching strategies, studies and examples related to how to use teaching methods and techniques in Life Science course, To know how to use the resources and educational materials in life science teaching.
Course Content Purpose, concept and content of Life Science course, Life Science course approaches in other countries and historical development of the Life Science course in Turkey, The acquisition, skill, concept etc. of the Life Science teaching program. Investigation by features, the distribution of the themes included in the program and the achievements of the themes, Basic teaching skills in life science teaching, teaching strategies, studies and examples about the use of teaching methods and techniques in Life Science lesson, Use of resources and materials in life science teaching, Values and democracy education in Life Science lesson, Evaluation of sample practices and classroom activities related to the Life Science Program.
