Course Objective The purpose of this course is to develop the environmental awareness and the sensitivity of to save and protect the natural environment.
Course Content Basic ecological concept and principles, ecosystems, food chains, food web, habitats, competition, symbiosis, energy flow, the circulation of matter, population growth, ecological impact, erosion, soil and water resources, environmental awareness, the studies about environmental awareness around the world, environmental institution and organizations, environment education in elemantary school programs.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Define basic ecological concepts and principles.
2 Explains the concepts of ecosystems, food chains, food web, habitat, competition.
3 Gives examples of symbiosis and mutual life, energy flow, circulation of matter.
4Explains the characteristics of Population growth, ecological impact, erosion, soil and water resources.
5 Follows the studies about environmental sensitivity and environmental sensitivity in the world
6Recognizes institutions and organizations engaged in environmental studies.
7Knows environmental education topics in elementary school program.
