Course Objective Political forces in Turkey's international relations and effectiveness, the level of political power and effectiveness, taking into account the historical development of the relationship between physical and human characteristics, especially geographical position; Turkey's current political relations, analyzing the external political problems facing and to gain the ability to interpret.
Course Content The location and position of Turkey: Turkey's geopolitical and geostrategic situation and characteristics, mathematical location properties, special location properties (neighbors), characteristics of country groups (political, military, economic, cultural organizations), Physical features of Turkey (climate, hydrographic characteristics, soil structure, vegetation), socioeconomic characteristics (population, settlement, agriculture, forestry, stockbreeding, energy, industry, transportation, tourism).
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1To understand political geography and geopolitics.
