COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective During the course, students learn definition and importance of play and effects of play on social, emotional, psycho motor, and physical, cognitive, language, personality, moral and sexual development of children , phases and kinds of play, play areas and different kinds of toys, tools and materials, general principles of teaching play, theories related with play development, play and toys for handicapped and ill children staying in hospital, using play for therapy and diagnose for children.
Course Content Historical developmet of play, Play Theories; basic consepts abaout with play, Play development in early childhood; Changes in Plays Based on Developmental Stages; Elimination of Behavioral Problems Via Plays; Cultural Different in play; plays and toys in Turk culture.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
