Course Objective During the course, students learn basic concepts and theories of cognitive and language development. It has been aimed to teach biological, cognitive, social aspects and developmental periods of language development, positive and negative factors in development of language and relationship between thought and language .
Course Content Cognitive development of 0 -8 year old children, theories and concepts of cognitive development( Piaget and Vygotsky), theories and concepts of language development, systems in content of language, physiology and neurology of language, language development of 0-8 year old children,influecning factors of language development, language and thinking between relation and function of language, bilingual.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
