Course Objective To be able to benefit from the rhythm, dance and Orff activities in preschool education effectively in order to support the development and learning of the child.
Course Content Development of rhythmic gymnastics from the basic concepts related to music, voice, tempo development, relations with development areas of these concepts; to play with Orff approach, to listen, to dance, to dance, to express themselves, to create their own music and to use Orff instruments; to organize the educational environment; to play rhythm-sound-tempo and dance; Planning, implementation and evaluation of music events suitable for pre-school education program.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.

1 Basic concepts related to music, rhythmic perception, sound development and its relationship with developmental areas. Defining the concepts of rhythm and dance by reconciling them with human nature.
2 Examining rhythm patterns and studying transitions between rhythms in different beats.
3 Determining dance types for children, analyzing the basic components of dance, and examining the meanings of body movements.
4 Defining body percussion and being able to accompany the heard rhythm or melody with body percussion.
5 Rhythmic reading for children's song writing, placement of words on beats using the spelling method. Performing rhythmic singing exercises by taking steps.
6 Transforming an object or concept that children can guess and/or know according to their developmental processes into poetry through improvisation. Repeating the poem written at that moment with rhythmic steps.
7 Performing creative improvisation exercises in groups to create rhythmic and/or musical choreography for children's activities.
8 Conducting group work on a given topic using body percussion improvisations and dramatizing and explaining the words in the written poem through the body.
9 Rhythmic study of songs written for preschoolers. Evaluating the compatibility of rhythm and lyrics of these songs. Defining and explaining the concept of prosody in songwriting.
10 Planning the musical activity in the process of preparing choreography for children and creating musical children's activities.
