Course Objective This course aims to support the skills of engaging various media practices in early childhood education programs for pre-service teachers. It is also aimed to explain the relationship between children and the media to prospective teachers and to ensure that the points to be considered in children's access to digital media are known.
Course Content Within the scope of this course, the pre-service teachers learn children's and digital media products (cartoons, advertisements, computer games, internet sites, etc.) and media theories that examine the relationship between media. Also, they explain media and violence, media and bullying, media and children's rights, the influence of the media on the child's development, integration of media tools into early childhood education classrooms, and digital media the role of family and school in access and use
