Course Objective	Developing knowledge and awareness about the role of the teacher, the educational environment and the program in environmental education in the preschool period; To support the skills of evaluating environmental education-based education programs and practices and developing practices that support environmental education in the preschool period.
Course Content	Basic concepts related to environmental education; the importance of environmental education; environmental education in preschool; planning and implementing environmental education activities for preschool children
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

1	Explain the importance and aims of environmental education in preschool period.
2	Define environmental education approaches.
3	Explain the role of adults, educational environments and the program in environmental education.
4	Gives examples of environmental education programs implemented in Turkey and in the world.
5	Prepare and implement environmental education programs integrated with pre-school education program.
