Course Objective	In this course, it is aimed to inform teacher candidates about the development of children's literature in Turkey and in the world, the selection of qualified children's literature products and the use of children's literature products in the academic and social emotional learning process.
Course Content	Development of children's literature in the world and in Turkey. Types of children's literature. Features to be considered when choosing children's books and sharing them with children. Children's books and early literacy. The use of children's books in science and mathematics teaching. Children's libraries and book centers.
Prerequisites	No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite	No the corequisite of lesson.
