Course Objective The aim of this course is to inform prospective teachers about the definition of mathematics in early childhood, the relationship between mathematics and games, the relationship between mathematics and children's literature, mathematics programs, teaching basic mathematics concepts, planning and implementation of mathematics activities.
Course Content Definition and importance of early childhood mathematics education; math content and process standards; using games and children's books in mathematics education; mathematics education programs; basic mathematical concepts, numbers and operations, measurement and probability, spatial skills and geometry; planning and executing math activities.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
