COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective The objective of this course is to teach Greek and Roman Mythologies, stories of Gods and Heroes and reflections of these mythologies on Western literature, how they were shaped politically and socially and basic mythologic concepts which are necessary for a better analysis and understanding of Western literatures.
Course Content The origin of mythology, basic mythologic concepts, basic mythologic sources, important figures in antique mythology, impressions on Western culture and literature and illustrations.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
