Course Objective This course covers the basic religious and philosophical motifs of the Western Literature which have shaped culture and literature in the West, thus forming the Western literary tradition. It focuses upon the religious motifs in the Old Testament, the New Testament, and the Bible, the ancient and the greek philosophers and their teachings.
