Course Objective The aim of this course, is to have general knowledge about the Grecian language and dialects. Objectives of this course is simple and compound sentences in writing, to be able to analyze in terms of form and meaning.
Course Content The description of Greek alphabet, the types of capital and minuscule letters, the masculine, feminine, genderless features of the words in Ancient Greek language will be told.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1To be able to have a basic knowledge about ancient Greek language and its dialects
2To be able to have a basic vocabulary in ancient Greek
3To be able to analyze simple and composite sentences by orthography, form and meaning
4To be able to translate expressions of ancient Greek to Turkish
5To be able to understand better the grammar rules and terms of Turkish language by comparisons with ancient Greek
