Course Objective Learning the chronological course, historical and literary development of Classical Turkish Literature; recognition and understanding of its aesthetic structure and resources. Comprehending the general characteristics of the literature that developed in the Anatolian and Ottoman fields from the 13th to the 19th centuries, examining and interpreting the important representatives and their works.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Evaluates the researches in the field of Old Turkish Literature, defines the problems in the researches. Learns and uses research methods in the field of Old Turkish Literature.
2Have the ability to develop new ideas and methods in the field by using high-level mental processes such as creative and critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
3Learns the development line and stylistic differentiations of old Turkish literature; In the light of this information, he can divide the old Turkish literature into periods and list its general features.
4Evaluate the researches in the field of Old Turkish Literature and define the problems in the researches.
5Interpret the acquired information about the field verbally and in writing.
