Course Objective Teaching about building materials and deterioration types based on important Turkish-Islamic works and proposing ways of conservation/ protection.
Course Content Important monuments of Turkish-Islamic period both in Anatolia and outside Anatolia, their decorative features, and other portable works of art will be studied with regards to their building and production stages, factors affecting their deterioration, their previous repair phases, proposals to problems, exhibition and conservation proposals.
