COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Objective To recognize contemporary practices and different field management plan models in the field of cultural heritage management in the world; have knowledge about national and international studies and methods on cultural heritage management.
Course Content Management of cultural heritage in the preservation of the historic environment, to be defined as a management issue all components of cultural heritage, UNESCO world heritage site and area management approach to evaluate the world, successful site management plans and practice, field management plans and practices in Turkey.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1To be able to define the requirements of the field management process for cultural heritage.
2To be able to describe the social, economic and political aspects of the field management process.
3To be able to express the approaches related to field management in historical process.
4To interpret the process of transition to management in field management.
5To be able to explain the current structure of the national and international legislation related to the field management practice and the changes in the legislation.
