Course Objective Examination of traditional wall paintings used in wall and ceiling decorations of historical and archaeological buildings; construction techniques, material properties and types of deterioration occurring over time.
Course Content Construction techniques used in traditional wall paintings, material properties and deteriorations that occurred over time and reasons are discussed. In addition, the methods of detecting and documenting the protection status of wall paintings are examined in detail.
