Course Objective The aim of this course is to explain the periodical documentation processes in conservation practices of architectural structures in archaeological sites, historical and religious buildings and works in laboratory environments.
Course Content Documentation methods and applications in archaeological field, historical and religious buildings. Material properties, types of materials, visual deterioration maps and documentation processes in documentation on different material groups (mosaic, opus sectile, wall, architectural elements) in architecture. Documentation methods in the work laboratory, material definitions, deterioration processes, conservation practices, documentation of materials used.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
13Within the scope of the works related to the course review and causes of deterioration, the creation of ID cards work, repair and pre-application and post-conditions documentation, for the acquisition of theoretical and practical knowledge will be provided.
