Course Objective To teach students the connection between nature and geometry, to raise awareness about geometric structures in nature and the effect of geometry on nature.
Course Content Definition and types of geometry. The relationship of geometry with the animal and plant kingdom. Symmetry, rotation, translation, golden ratio, patterns and fractals in nature. Other relations between nature and geometry.
