Course Objective To explain the basic concepts of biological diversity, to introduce the factors affecting biodiversity. To give information about the detection, evaluation and protection of biodiversity.
Course Content Basic concepts of biological diversity, biological diversity inventory methods, factors affecting biodiversity, alpha-beta-gamma diversity, determination and evaluation of relationships between biological diversity and environmental factors, threats to biological diversity, habitat destruction and global climate change, invasive species and diseases, population and species protection.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
