Course Objective The aims are; - to develop core scientific skills in bioindustries to deal with the relevant environmental issues, - to apply bio-technological solutions to environmental problems and preventing the environmental wastes by using biotechnological approach and the techniques and methods that can be used for this aim is discussed also in this course.
Course Content Introduction, Environmental monitoring, Sewage treatment, Clean Technology, Bioremediation, Biotechnology and Sustainable Technology, Biofuels, Natural resource recovery, Agrobiotechnology, Biotechnology of the Marine Environment, Environmental Management and Legislation, Specific topics
