Course Objective Introducing some techniques used to understand basic concepts in the isolation, purification and characterisation of biomolecules, and their structure-function relationships.
Course Content Vitamins, Absorption spectra, Protein determination methods, Biuret and lowry, Albumin determination with brom cresol green, Bilirubin determination with diazonium production, Colourimetric urea determination,Measurement of blood sugar, Enzyme determination, LDH and ALP measurement, Determination of total haemoglobin, Determination of lipids. .
