COURSE DESCRIPTION
Course Level Bachelor's Degree

Course Objective To provide an introduction to the different kinds of titrations which can be performed and to give some basic information about electrochemistry.
Course Content Theory of neutralisation titrations, Titration curves for complex acid-base systems, Applications of neutralisation titrations, Precipitation titrations, Complex formation titrations, An introduction to electrochemistry, Oxidation-reduction titrations, Potentiometry and voltammetry.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.
Mode of Delivery Face to Face

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
1Will be able to see the interactions ions or molecules in a solution and can write concentration equals (complex formation, precipitation or redox)
2Will be able to interpret equilibrum constant, and make predictions and hypothesis
3Will be able to calculate the pH of the solution.
4Will be able to calculate equilibrum species
5Will be able to calculate the electrode and cell potential.
