Course Objective Attempted to determine the structures of organic compounds with the help of physical and spectral data. How do students benefit from their spectrums are doing this in practice.
Course Content Element analysis and closed-formula, UV-Vis spectroscopy and spectrum-structure assessment, the FT-IR spectroscopy, applications, and spectrum-structure assessment, determination of organic functional groups, 1 H-NMR spectroscopy, applications, and spectrum-structure assessment, Chemical shift and spin-spin interactions, the skeletal structure of organic compounds and 13C-NMR spectroscopy, mass spectra, molecular formula and molecular mass determination.
