Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach the crystal structure of solids, determination of crystal structure, crystal binding and mechanical properties of crystals.
Course Content Crystal Structure, Crystalline Defects, Reciprocal Lattice and Diffraction, Crystal Bonding, Crystal Elasticity and Elastic Constants.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1To understand the fundemental properties of matter.
2To understand the kinds of crystal structure and properties of the crystal structure.
3To learn the contents of x-rays and how to use x-rays in structure determination.
4To learn the kinds of crystal bonding.
5To make computer simulation using potantials between atoms.
6To understand the properties of crystal flexibility
7Relates the electrical and mechanical properties of the crystals with the crystal lattice vibrations.
8To establish a connection between technology and the knowledge acquired.
