Course Objective The aim of this course is to teach optoelectronic at a basic level to students and researchers who want to understand and do academic and RD works on essentials of optoelectronic technology which has developed very fast and already affected our life styles.
Course Content Advantages of optoelectronic technology, Examination of Maxwell's equations in empty space and matter, Beam optics, Polarity of light, Electromagnetic wave properties of light, Frequency dependence of optical constants, Progress of light in an anisotropic medium, Modulation of optical constants by external effects, Nonlinear optical effects, Basic information of semiconductors related to optoelectronic technology, Electronic properties of semiconductors, Semiconductor structures, Optoelectronic circuit elements
