Course Objective This course is meant to introduce students to the careful study and analysis of the philosophy of Bertrand Russell.
Course Content The focus of study will be his The Problems of Philosophy. Among the topics considered: Russell’s views about idealism and realism, skepticism, the nature of knowledge and truth, the nature of the relation between the language and the world.
