Course Objective	The history of urbanization in the world, and to investigate the characteristics of urbanization in Turkey.
Course Content	Definition of urban, urban-rural settlements criteria used to distinguish; Urbanization, urbanization in Turkey and in the world of historical development, urbanization effective factors, city types in historical times; City of effective factors on distribution and distribution; Urban functions, public and private urban functions, urban classification, functions according to the type and characteristics of the city that have appeared in the world, and examples from Turkey; Urban land use, general characteristics, theories and models; Examination of central place theory and models.
