Course Objective The definition of soil physical and chemical properties, types, geographical distribution and productivity assessment to comprehend.
Course Content Pedological soil terminology and opinions; Pedejonez, the climate in soil formation, bedrock topography, organisms (plants, animals, humans and micro-organisms) and time relationships; The use of clay minerals in the soil and its importance; Cation exchange capacity and determination of agricultural soil fertility; Examination of soil texture; Pedogenic (chemical, physical, biological) processes and examination of the soil profile (profile development and horizon properties), soil classification and mapping of soil research methods and techniques; Soil types and geographical distribution and productivity assessment; Turkey Soil Investigation of the law.
