Course Objective The aim of this course is evaluating the basic theories and concepts of Art History, historical facts and images which is the subject of Art History in the imformation process and outlines the phases of change to examine the civilizations of Anatolia and around, through the general concepts and examples.
Course Content Basic concepts and general definations of art and Art History will be discussed. The development of art will be examined in and around of Anatolia, from the emergence to the middle ages. Art of Mesopotamian, Egyptian and Anatolian civilizations will be introduced in a comparison.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
Corequisite No the corequisite of lesson.

1Will be able to explain the basic concepts related with history of art
2Will be able to explain definition of art and kinds of art and theories and concepts of the art history
3Will be able to idetify definition of sience of art history and it’s relation with siences.
4Will be able to explain phenomenons and materials of art history with it’s formation and change phases.
5Will be able to explain the chronological formation and evolution of art until the end of the middle ages.
6Will be able to identify history and regions of civilizations until the end of the middle ages.
7Will be able to explain similarity and difference of mentality of art and art materials in different regions until the end of the middle ages.
