Course Objective The aim of course requiring an insight on the themes of Islamic art and their evolution within the Islamic visual tradition. At the end of the course, the students will be able to identify the themes and iconography of the images. Beside, they will be familiarized with the written sources of the Islamic iconography.
Course Content The iconography of Islamic visual art, The relationship between the images and their historical and cultural context.
Prerequisites No the prerequisite of lesson.
